Melrose Cafe & Bar is looking for qualified people to join our Management team as the Marketing & Events Coordinator. We have been independently owned and operated for 22 years in the Calgary community. We would like to add great people to join our establishment who will contribute to the continued success of Melrose Cafe & Bar.
Duties will include:
Social Media monitoring: Twitter, Facebook, instagram, yelp, urbanspoon
Coordination with external suppliers
Set up and execution of all in house and external promotions
Responsible for scheduling, hiring/firing and development of promotions team
Responsible for organizing all promotions, events tastings, staff seminars
Website management of day to day changes such as promotions, food features, photo gallery, menus
Co-ordinate printing of menus and input changes with external printer
Inventory management of all promotional items
Quarterly Planning and implementation all events and promotions
Manage all partnership/charity requests
Tracking and analysis of all coupons and special offers
Consistently following and adhering to AGLC rules and regulations
Ability to make quick decisions and execution of those decisions
Weekly team meetings
Have 2 years hospitality or event management experience, preferably in a high volume setting
2 years in an assistant manager/supervisory role
Be customer service orientated
Be highly motivated and passionate about creating a memorable experience for our guests.
Have a strong will to succeed and take pride in maintaining the highest levels of quality, service and cleanliness.
Be available to work mornings, afternoons and nights both weekdays and weekends
